You'd better to use DTW 2005.0.11

And make sure restart your DTW after you added UDFs.

here is the folder where there are templates for sales opportunities:

C:\Program Files\SAP\Data Transfer Workbench\Templates\Templates\oSalesOpportunities

I am using :

DTW version:2005.0.14

API version:6.80.320

If you use DTW version:2005.0.13, and can't find resolution for userfields, you must test the DTW version:2005.0.14.

I'm using DTW 2005.0.17,I can find the userfields.

After added the user-defined fields, there were always mistakes when I transfer data into the database by using DTW.

And if I delete the defined user-defined fields, then I can use DTW inerrablely. This is my bother.

Thanks for your reply!

wei zhao,

If you have created user fields in the Sales Opportunities table, you can add the same user field in your Excel DTW template at the end. Remember to use the same name of the User field while adding the columns. example: U_field1, U_xxx

Also in your DTW template, add two rows of the same user field column like other columns in the template.

This way, while importing using DTW using Map Rule Tab (Check Input Data Screen) check if the user field from your template are mapped correctly to your user field in Sales Oppor. tables.

If not you can manually select the target fields matching your user fields in the template.

Wei,

The weakness of DTW template sample or template of SAP B1 2005A are not included the example of how user defined field is written in the template. It is only available in the SAP B1 2004A DTW templates. The UDF fields have to be created in the template. you just simple write U_udf code1, U_udf code2, etc. you must write two rows.

E.g. the udf code is aiwd, the description of UDF is amount in words, so the user defined field in the template must be U_aiwd. Mapping them (source must be same as target field) in the step 3 when performing uploading using DTW.
