Requirement quantity is lower than minimum lot size of the source of supply - CTM issue

Hi Experts -

May I know why the subjected issue occurs? My understanding is that the lot size constraint will only affect the quantities of the planning results but doesn't prevent CTM from creating any supply.

The application help of SAP on the source determination in CTM suggests specifically on this behaviour. So, my expectation in fact is wrong. It is like saying the machine will not start if the incoming demand is less than what is set as minimum. While I expected that the machine, if runs, will produce the minimum quantity that I set up (min lot size) if the demand is less than it.

Anyways, at least this answers the query.
