HI All,

we have migrated the powerbuilder code which is on windows XP(Powerbuilder 12.5) to Windows 7(power builder 12.6).

we have the GetWindowsdirectory function on the code to identify the ini file path.when we deploy the code on windows server 2008 R2 server, the GetWindowsdirectory function is giving 'C:\windows\' where as the code which is on WindowsXP(powerbuilder 12.5) is giving 'C:\users\userid\windows\'.

we are not sure that there is something that need to be setup on the server to get the 'C:\users\userid\windows\' path.

could you please assist in resolving the issue.

Thanks,

Mahesh.

Server OS behaves differently. Perhaps there is no active user when your application is running? If you are looking for a specific directory, why not use the FileExists or DirectoryExists functions?
