403- Intenral Error Connect from SAP gateway to RFC server failed

Hi,

I am trying to create a remote source for ERP system in SDI. But encountered with an error mentioned below.

Error reading Remote Object: InternalError: dberror(CallableStatement.execute): 403 - internal error: Cannot get remote source objects: Initialization of destination failed: Connect from SAP gateway to RFC server failed.

Can any one suggest to resolve the error?

Hi,

I was able to resolve the error by adding the IP address of ECC system in Windows hosts file. I was able to create a remote data source but was not able to see extractors from SAP ECC. Am I missing any thing? Can any one suggest please?

As stated I have added the IP address of the ECC system on the Windows host,

failed: Connect to SAP gateway failed

LOCATION CPIC (TCP/IP) on local host with Unicode ERROR partner not reached

Do you know if need to do additional settings for getting this right.
