problem with jdbc adapter

hi all

there is a problem with jdbc adapter It is showing fine every where in the configuration it is being worked worked since 2mounths well all of a sudden it stopped picking up the file i stoped and started the communication channel but i couldnt find any thing working it is just showing processing started

can any one help me out with this problem

In Vusual Administrator check for the locked adapter node. Delete the entry there.. It would be present with a different name.. but you should be able to recognise it since it is a jdbc adapter.

The adapter got locked.

hi

i am not having visual admin access i will pass on the message to check in visual admin. but can you breif me regarding what is jdbc adapter node (((((ie what is a node)))))))

Its not JDBC adapter node. It is Locked Adapter node. It must be available in the VA. IT would contain the list of locked channels.

I found even another communication channel (jdbc adapter)whis has got stopped at the same time showing the same status so i have 2 queries regarding this issue

1)do you know any reason why and when a adapter gets locked.

2)if jdbc adapter get locked no communication channel(jdbc) using that adapter would work or only just it pertains to a single communication channel (jcbc)

its a known issue with JDBC

check SAP Note 1083488

the time interval was set as 5sec and retry interval was not set to any value at all but in the run time workbenc communication channel monitoring it is showing like this

can you tell me why was there a lot of difference to the configured value(5) and the runtime value (ie 52-37=15)

can you help me out why it is so

did you look at the SAP Note i referred before?

if not,then have a look at it coz it solves the exact same issue you have

Hi Sandeep,

You have a problem with polling issue so first check whether any lock entry exists in VA.

If there is then release the entry and restart the comm channel, this will resolve your immediate problem. Also apply OSS note 1083488 to prevent this issue from happening again in future.

Hi,

1) Did any new SDA file Deployed in the XI Server

2) Any Update on the Drivers ?

3) Any New App included.. IF so Configuration might be issue
