Background work processes "hangs" in the update action...

Hi,

After upgrade to V5R4 on our development i/Series, all background work processes in one of our 4.6C systems hangs in the update action.... In SM50 we have 3 background work processes and everything goes fine when jobs are in action "reading" but when the jobs go to status "update" nothing happens. The jobs runs "forever"... Do you have any idea?

It is a 4.6C system running kernel 4.6D EDBDIC level 2291. On the same server are 2 other 4.6C systems with the same kernel version and here are there no problems at all. Further more there are also a BW system (6.40 with ASCII kernel level 202) and here are also no problems.
