Subnetwork creation from Milestone trigger

Hi Guys,

I have a complicated situation here

Network type X

activity One --> Linked to Miletstone (to create Subnetwork bellow activity two with network type Y)

Activity two -->

What are the cofiguration required to do this from sub network point?

I have done cofig in OPTP but the system says maintain config in OPTP.

Network type subntwk Y

NtwkTy replaced act. X(activity control key)

Control key Y(control key)

Copy dates 1

Is this config correct.

It seems to be correct. Are you able to create a subnetwork manually? Or are you just experiencing problems when triggering the milestone function?

Hi,

I am able to create a sub network Manually, I guess this should be a problem with Milestone trigger. When i trigger the milestone i get error

"You cannot create a subnetwork

Message no. CN063

Diagnosis

You have not maintained all the parameters in Customizing which are necessary to create a subnetwork."

and it is pointing me to OPTP config.

For your info.

The parent network is created through assembly processing through sales order (Naturally Backward scheduling) the child network is forward scheduled.
