Dear Gurus,

Please tell me how to configure Base Entitlement for automatic accrual of Absence Quota for the following scenario. For first 240 days of the year; per 20 days of presence, one leave is generated in absence quota. After 240 days one leave is credited per 12 days.

Your help will be appreciated.

Waiting for an early reply.

Regards,

Pratik

Hi,

Maybe U can goto:

IMG->Time Management->Time Data Recording and Administration->Managing Time Accounts Using Attendance/Absence Quotas

All the sub-node under this config node are about your buisness.Pay special attention to <Define Generation Rules for Quota Type Selection>. Actually this is defined by view V_T559L.

If you goto PE04, enter "QUOTA"(which is the operation used to generate quota in TM schema) then Ctrl+F8, you will find that QUOTA generates absence/attendance quota according to V_T559L. More details can be found in IMG help docs.

For in your requirements, the generation logical is more complex, maybe you must write some PCR to calculate the present days/hours into a time type before QUOTA operation.

Dear Mr Yang,

Thnx for your reply. I have tried and tested each and every nodes you have mentioned in your reply. But it is not working for me. I dont have much idea about PCR. Is there any other way apart from writing PCR?

I checked with the Technical consultant. The values in the screen are hard coded and u need to take the help of tech consultant. Pls go ahead with the months option only.

In ur case Convert days into months and maintain the value.

Hai..

Give two Rules ...

Maintain 0 - 240 DAYS In seniority as Sequential rule.

Maintain 240 + as another sequential rule..

And coming to ur requirement of 20days attendance.. create a daily time type, Pass all ur attendance days and maintain the time type in Day Balannce
