HI Experts

My client wants to post the stolen material to different GL account during physical inventory process with 702 movement type.

As per the blogs in SDN, i have created Z movement type Z72 w.r.t 702 and assigned new account modifier ZIN w.r.t INV . Maintained OBYC with ZIN under GBB. I have created phy inv.doc.Entered the count in mI04. Posted the difference in MI07. After posting the difference, when i saw the material document in MIGO, i found that the movement type is still 702 but not Z72.

Please can any one suggest what went wrong.

Regards Radha Krishna

Movement types for physical inventory are defined in table T150.

Your defined customization will work for manually entered movement type e.g. 561, 551, not for automatic movement types.

Hi Chrisradha,

I don't think we can configure customized movement type for MI07 except you enhance it with implicit enhancement point. Check these link

Thank you Dibyendu,

IT means i cannot post stolen material to separate GL account i.e stolen material value to be posted to GL account of Account modifier INV only but not to GL of ZIN?

Regards

Radha Krishna

I haven't said that it is not possible. Probably you can have a different way, see my blog https://blogs.sap.com/2013/11/02/different-accounting-for-different-purpose-against-movement-type/
