employees not switching from one payroll area to other payroll area

Hi SAP experts

we have three employees that are not switching from payroll area X to payroll area Y and payroll area Z automatically ,we had to do it manually .

if the problem would have been with ABKRS feature it should have been for all employees ,but it is creating only for three employees .

Any suggestions are welcome

have u configured dynamic actions to that... whats that emps not switching from one payroll area to other. If its in the mid of payroll it will not be done. only after completion of the payroll period u can view the changes

Hi

Let me explain you the problem in detail. We have a thing called No payroll area (The payroll Dept doesnt use this payroll area for any active payroll processes,but we call it with some code name at our client ),when ever a person is hired he comes initially to this No payroll area its like a Holding bucket ,once the Master Data is set up by the payroll/HR person in SAP ,he should switch to the Actual payroll areas automatically used by the payroll Dept for payroll processing (and generally this is done by ABKRS feature in org assignment infotype (0001) in SAP ) and its done on the beginning date of the payperiod of the new payroll area and for 15 people it was done and 3 were rejected and for those 3 we did manually ,I am trying to investigate why it happened for these 3 people only ? Because we dont want it to happen again and again and fix it manually .

any suggestions are appreciated .

in your case, the data not entered properly for those 3 employees, please check..

Hai..

Make sure the value u defaulted in ABKRS applies to those 3 employees.. im sure they belong to differnt PSA/ESA.... & hence Feature is not getting defaulted only for those 3 employees. ( Reason is when it worked for 15 employees..)

Im not sure of the complete scenario but for changing to a new payroll area (say XY), the change can be done only on the beginning date of the pay period of the new payroll area(XY). For example, for the new Payroll area (XY) the pay period is starting on 6th, then payroll area change to XY can happen only on 6th.
