Pensions via salary sacrifice

Former Member

We currently have a number of people who use salry sacrifice for childcare as an example. We are about to launch a new pensions scheme and employees will be able to salary sacrifice and contribute their pension this way. Normally I know we would show pensions under infotype 0071, however as it is salary sacrifice I am assuming that we would need to show it under 0008. Has anyone tried this and if so how would it work?

We have done something similar for our staff. Where only ER's pension is payable, we have processed this outside the payroll. You do not have to record it within the payroll system.

I have managed to solve this, so no need to reply.

Hi

I have a GB Pension query - not related to Salary Sacrifice.

Basically our company allow the employees to go on extended leave where the employee's salary is reduced. In this situation they allow the employee to reduce their Pension contributions, but the employer contributions are to be maintained at the normal Salary level.

Do you know of a way to do this?

I will be raising this as a separate thread - so feel free to answer that thread for points.

Regards

Hi I posted this just before Xmas, so I am hoping the Christmas activities is why no-one has replied. I am looking for any help with pension scheme contributions through salary sacrifice route.

Here's hoping
