SAP IDP Migration- Homogeneous

Hello All,

We have to do homogeneous migration of SAP IDP (Identity provider) system from Ms SQL to MS SQL (As Is Migration) .It will be just host change.Kindly help to let us know if we have to follow any special care for this migration being Identity Provider system. It is Java only system.

you are moving the SAP AS Java database to a new host? As long as the AS Java is able to restart, there is no impact to SAP IdP. All IdP settings are stored in the database, and none of them are linked to the hostname of the DB server.
