problem in netweaver2004 installation

hi all

while installing sap netweaver2004 i am getting following error

HI Sandeep,

I guess, the application is expecting some values from database as an argumenmt to the sapparam. And in database side there is no TNS listner is running. So please Ensure that the supplied destination address matches one of the addresses used by the listener - compare the TNSNAMES.ORA entry with the appropriate LISTENER.ORA file (or TNSNAV.ORA if the connection is to go by way of an Interchange). Start the listener on the remote machine.

Hi Sinha

THis error has occured due to short memory dump

as recomended by SAP there must be at least 8 GB RAM for installation.

but as i am installing netweaver on virtual environment so my limit is that i can not exceed memory more then 4GB

my problem is solved as i have given more swapping space

anyway thanks for your valuable input
