Lumira Discover and Designer

Do we need Lumira Discover to make certain things work in Lumira Designer? The reason I ask is because I have been trying, unsuccessfully to use a data source with latitude and longitude on an Esri map. I’m able to select the data source but the dimension for latitude and longitude do not show up in the drop down. I have even tried to add them manually.

Thanks

Hi Justin,

You certainly do not need Discovery in order to use Designer, although there are interoperability features if you have both.

In the case of your Geo Map component, it looks like you are using a Universe as a data source, in which case I believe the latitude and longitude need to be defined as measures and not dimensions.

Mustafa.

Thanks for your reply however it still does not work. I turned them to measures and set the aggregation function to none. I also set the projection function to none. It does look different now.

Hello,

I got the same issue, what do you mean by "Had to select the data."

Thanks,
