TutWD_File_UpDownload_NW04s Depoly Errors

Hi Guys,

i try to depoly TutWD_File_UpDownload_NW04s but then i have errors on it...

Try undeploy and then redeploy the application.

i try to delete away the application and then now i unable to import back the application again as i will be alway promt this error which is "Invalid Project Description"... as it display this "Invalid project description.

C:/Documents and Settings/Admin/Documents/SAP/workspace/TutWD_ FileUpDownload_NW04s_Init and C:/Documents and Settings/Admin/Documents/SAP/workspace overlap.

Hi,

Have you tried to open the project in a new Workspace, may be this could resolve your isssue.

Hi Jia,

Did you rename this project? You need to give same name as it is in Project Description when you import.

before that i never rename it.. then just import i keep prompt me the same errors then after that i try to rename it and import can work but then cannot deploy

Hi Jia,

You need to perform two things. Delete all copies of TutWD_ FileUpDownload_NW04s_Init . Import the project into worksapce.

1.Rename Project:

In NWDS, Open Navigator tab-> right click on the project -> select Rename and give different name. Save and close it

Open Windows explorer navigate to this location C:/Documents and Settings/Admin/Documents/SAP/workspace

Open .project file with notepad

<projectDescription>

<name>+RENAME HERE with new project +</name>

Go to NWDS, Open project

reload it.

2.Open project-> select Component-> right click and rename it.

Rebuild and deploy it.

Hi Jia,

This error comes due to duplicate names in the namespace. Can you check whether there is any component with same name as the name of the component of TutWD_File_UpDownload_NW04s1 ?

Check your namespace local. If you have access to your server, open http://<host:port>/irj/portal -> Content Admin -> Web Dynpro. In the left side panel open local > you can open and check the names in each project.

i try to check already and the namespace is there? but then how do i delete away the namespace? if not i wont be able to import the project into the webdynpro.
