Transport for Custom EDI content from B2B cockpit from DEV to QA

Hi

I have moved the EDI content created for custom ANSIX12 EDI messages like 850VICS ,810VICS from DEV to QA using the import content option .

But when I check the content association scenario it still reflects the DEV sender system names .

Is this is only way to move the Custom EDI content or can we directly create the same in QA . Please suggest how transports for custom EDI content are done .

Secondly, I am also getting error in QA : Cannot deliver message: com.sap.aii.adapter.ediseparator.ra.x12.validation.ValidationException: Error occured Message type 850 version 004030VICS not found in controlkey 8 . But my control key or interface is something else . Please suggest .

Hello Alok,

This seems to be issue with control key association . check whether you have added the correct system in the Control key editor.

Thanks for the response . I edited the control key scenario association directly in QA to have QA system parameters . The outbound idoc from SAP still does not pick up the control key and does not use the VICS version defined for that set .

Alok,

You can go with Raghu's suggestion or you can directly create in QA as well but in case if the structure which you created in Dev is a huge change and doing it the same in QA is time taking task hence import and export option in best optimized.

AFAIK there is no CTS+ transport supported for B2B content as of now so the business system won't get converted once moved to QA. Try to change manually the control key association in QA if possible.
