S_ALR_87012004 unable to limit authorize to run report by company code

Dear Guru,

I got a requirement to limit authorize to use transaction code S_ALR_87012004.

The user in compay code A should not be able to see the depreciation of company code B.

and user in compay code B should not be able to see the depreciation of company code A.

However there is no authorize object to do so.

Did anyone has encountered this problem? How can you solve it ?

Please give advice.

    Work around:

Create a variants protecting the field company codes (2 variants for 2 company codes A & B)

Create custom T Code for this report and add the variant (2 z T Codes for 2 variants). T Code SE93 with option 'Transaction with parameters' mention the default values for transaction as START_REPORT. Under the default values enter the name of the screen field to ➖ value as below:

    D_SREPOVARI-REPORT - RAHAFA_ALV01 (Program of the report)

D_SREPOVARI-VARIANT - Variant Created for Company Code A

Repeat the steps for Company Code B

Assign this T code to relevant users and remove the standard authorisation for report S_ALR_87012004.

    Regards
