Dear Expert

Im actually working on an hybrid scenario BPC+SAC

I succefuly import a BPC model in SAC but i would like to creat a geomaps on the organisation dimension.

As i can see the only possibility is to add a geomaps when you import a model from flite file.

Do you know how i can add a geomaps in a hybrid scenario?

Very best regards

You are correct that the only current method of adding GeoMapping to a model is by using a imported file for an acquired data set, which has Latitude and longitude, which you then use in the import to create a location dimension into the model you are building. Once you build the location column (the merged values, you may actually delete the Lat and Long columns from the source) In addition, there are ways to build 1 model for the hybrid scenario on simple dimensionality, and then you may join additional global dimensions to this model. If you have a good use case for a customer, I strongly encourage you to enter this request to the SAC Product team, as they need to understand the demand for various Geo code use cases, and need of alternatives to building the location relationship to model data.

Hope this helps.

Geoffroy - only thing close I could find was this SAP Note:

It may apply "tangentially"

Otherwise I recommend submitting an improvement request at
