Oracle ASM on azure

I have a customer planning to migrate their on-premise SAP system to azure.

They use Oracle ASM with oracle linux. But now SAP does not support Oracle ASM on azure. (note: 1928533)

On the other hand, SAP supports Oracle ASM on aws, and Oracle Supports ASM on azure.

Is there any technical issue to support Oracle ASM on azure? or Is there any plan to support Oracle ASM on azure?

This is self follow up,

I found these notes.

From these notes , I think the restriction about Oracle ASM on Oracle linux of Azure is not investigated deeply.

Since historically Windows(SWPM) does not support ASM, I assume that it was judged that Oracle Linux on Azure does not support it.I hope SAP to review and remove the restriction about ASM on Oracle linux of Azure.

1550133 - Using Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM) with SAP NetWeaver based Products

SWPM supports SAP installations with Oracle ASM based on SAP NetWeaver 7.00 and above on Unix/Linux platforms.

SWPM does not support an SAP installation with Oracle ASM on Windows platforms.

2039619 - SAP Applications on Microsoft Azure using the Oracle Database: Supported Products and Vers... at old version 5

The following Oracle Database products and versions are supported on Microsoft Azure in the same way as on native Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems and Hyper-V.
