Recover from FULL backup and logs

Hello,

I am planning our BDR solution for HANA 2 and would like to know how to recover a database on a new system using 1 FULL backup and the log files from the previous system.

For example, I have

-rw-r-----. 1 mt0adm sapsys 155648 Oct 23 09:35 mt0_databackup_0_1
-rw-r-----. 1 mt0adm sapsys 1761615872 Oct 23 09:35 mt0_databackup_2_1
-rw-r-----. 1 mt0adm sapsys 83894272 Oct 23 09:35 mt0_databackup_3_1

and

-rw-r-----. 1 mt0adm sapsys 7.4M Oct 23 09:25 log_backup_2_0_129628992_129748736.1508765117047
-rw-r-----. 1 mt0adm sapsys 700K Oct 23 09:25 log_backup_0_0_0_0.1508765117300
-rw-r-----. 1 mt0adm sapsys 404K Oct 23 09:28 log_backup_3_0_5112128_5118400.1508765285213
-rw-r-----. 1 mt0adm sapsys 700K Oct 23 09:28 log_backup_0_0_0_0.1508765285318

Is it possible to copy those files to a new HANA installation and recover my data?

      Hi Frank,

      Thanks for the response!!

So based on the wiki you shared it looks like as long as I retain a FULL BACKUP file and all logs between the time that backup was taken and the time I want to recover to then I can move those files to a brand new HANA installation and recover my data.

      Is that correct?
