SAP PI file sender parallel processing

Dear guys

I am working on file to file Scenario with n possible Receivers.

Because there could be a bunch of files to be processed at the same time the question reqarding parallel processing of the file sender adapter arises.

It seems that the file sender adapter processes the file one after another. Even if the quality of service EO is used in sender adapter.

is this correct?

is there a way to get parallel processing of files available in the source directory?

We setup the properties regarding max thread use per receiver and increased the thread amount of file adapter (connection definition). But it seem to have no influence on the sender adapter side.

I already checked the File Adapter FAQ but there is nothing mentioned.

Any thoughts appreciated.
