Hi All,

I am configuring xMSAHH5.0 . I have CRM 5.0 SP07 in place. I wanted to know if I need to upload any external components to make it work as a backend for xMSAHH5.0 or if I just need to configure the existing settings in CRM5.0 .

Thank You

Hi Rucha,

For the existing CRM system , in SPRO transaction you can see the Mobiles Sales handheld , there you should maintain settings for the CRM system to act as backend for MSAHH application.

And once this is done , you have to maintain a RFC connection b/w middleware and backend system.

Hope its clear

Anand.

Hi Rucha,

Here are the answers to your questions:

1. In org assignment, you need to add the Business Partner (BP) for the Field Representative, via a position in the organization that is maintained in spro settings for HH

2. You do not need any site in smoeac. The Handheld aaplications do not work on this concept.

3. Since, you have created the same user on all the systems, when you sync from the MI Client, the client will pick up the data relevant only from this user.

4. The MSA HH runs on the generic synchronization concept in MI. So, all the data is fetched from function modules. You can run FMs CRM_HH_* to check if you have data for your users exisiting in CRM online.

5. Check if there are entries in ME database table BWAFMAPP in the MI system. This is mentioned in installation guide.

Hi Rucha,

You do not need any external components for the CRM system to work as a backend. You can configure the reuired settings under Mobile Sales/Service for Handhelds

->Mobile Sales for Handheld. All you need is the servicerep being assigned to the user PPR and the org staructure maintained in the above spro settings.
