Hi all,

We are looking at configuring SNC between our Identity Manager and SAP. Our Identity Manager itself has option to configure SNC. We have done the below in the process of configuring SNC.

1. Enabled SNC

2. Configured SNC User name, SNC Partner name, referred the SAPCryptoLibrary location and Qop.

Have done the above configuration when tried to test the connectivity it resulted in an error "No credentials were supplied".

We are looking at doing the kerberos based SNC. I've gone through SAP documentation but i am not able to relate my scenario with the documentation. Can some please throw some light on what else needs to be done after doing the configuration at our side for SNC.

I have come across few things like create a PSE using sapgenpse, importing X.509 certificates etc. I am wondering whether all these need to be done at client end too to configure SNC. If so, please suggest how to do it.

Thanks,

Sasank.

Dear Sasank,

you have to go with X.509 certificates and not with Kerberos for IDM and SAP. Make sure you have proper PSEs and creds on both sides.

If you require support let me know, this is of topic here.

Cheers, Carsten
