Designing Web Templates? Step by Step procedure.

Can anyone give me the step by step procedure for deigning the Web templates.

In the same way, the procedure for broad casting the Web templates also.

B4U,

1. Open the Web App Designer.

2. Drag on the Web Items you want on your page.

3. Change the properties of your Web Items (Tables / Charts) - bind your query or view to them and then make whatever changes your requirements are.

4. Save the Template in a role.

Your users can then access it from their web role menu.

On the IB side, we have create a role called Info Broadcaster and put one template in it. The only thing on that template is the Info Broadcaster web item.

If you have the appropriate authorisations, run the IB template, select whether you will broadcast a query / workbook or web template. Run through the tabs which will vary a little based on what you selected. You need to apply an eMail address, Authorizations user and the mail subject and body content.

What is IB side?

Dont you have powerpoint presentation on this or documentation.

Where do we define the enduser mail id's to whom & all this webtemplate needs to be broadcasted.

Pls reply.

IB side is the Info Broadcaster.

There is a lot of info on the site already on IB so maybe a search of existing material will suffice.

When you run the Info Broadcaster web item , you will see the Tabs that you need to populate with email addresses and times for scheduling etc. It's very straightforward.

Hi All,

Can anyone give me the step by step procedure for developing the web templates in WAD.

I have a problem like broadcasting webtemplates is not taking place for certain users.

The problem is like:

An error came while using Web Aplication Designer functionality.

Can you please help me to resolve this issue.

X person Developed a web template, but when Y person attempted to broadcast the associated query result, an error message returned indicating access was denied: part of error message Form: PHIO_GET_CONTENT_ACCESS of program SAPLSDCI.

The same X person developed a web template, but when he attempted to broadcast the associated query result, an error message was returned indicating access was denied.

From these test results it appears as though the errors encountered are authorization related. It is a requirement that web templates developed by X to be broadcasted.

I need to understand what permissions the X person requires in order for this to work so that his access can be changed.

Waiting for quick response.

Can u give me solution for this problem that what needs to be done.
