PO Release Strategy

Hi,

We have a PO Release with PO doc type also as one of the charecterisric and it is working fine from the last one year.

But recently we have added one more new DOC TYPE in the values of release class then that time onwards the release procedure is not at all working in all the PO's.

Why ?

what is the solution pl help.....

1) Define characteristics for PO document type

2)Create class

3)Link the characteristics to class

4)Configure release procedures

a)release groups

b)release codes

c)no need to create release indicators

d)create release strategies and simulate when you could see all release codes possible for release the documents

Note:Pl make sure you check in "overall document release" in the document type configuration

one release group+release strategies=one type of document

Try doing

Deine release procedure for purchase order ->Release Strategies, delete old one and create new

It will work ( keep all your other setting same like char, class, release code,group...)

Hi

you can use same as old but delete once and logout and login and create..some times it may not refresh ...

Old po if it is released then it will not affect unless u make some changes in them

go to C24n, mention the release class and release type.

check the strategy, whether the required doc type is available in the release stratagey

But the problem is The Release Procedure is not at all happening for any document type.

Now in my system there is no Release for the POs

follow below

Make all the deleted release settings in Customizing again, save them, and then delete them in the following sequence:

1. Delete the release strategies

2. Delete the release indicators

3. Delete the release codes

4. Delete the release group

5. Delete the class (Transaction CL02), if a new one was created for the new release strategy.

Then use transaction SE16 to check whether the entries in the tables mentioned above were deleted.

Execute the report in Customizing (transaction OMGQCK orOMGSCK) and ensure that the system does not display any red traffic lights
