Unable to edit extra fields added to CRM UI

Hi Gurus,

I have added additional field to my Incident Creation Page of the CRM UI.

These fields were added from the available standard fields. Using the configurable areas.

Now, if I want to make the Reported by or Sold To Party Editable, I will navigate to SPRO > Solution Manager > Capabilities > IT Service Management > Partner Determination Procedure > Partner functions in procedure and will enable the changeable field.

Since this is added from the configurations menu, I am not able to find the same Function.

Can you please let me know how to make the "Created By" field editable?

    Hi Vivek,

    There is one other way to change the field names:-

    1. Get the Solman Developer Access first.

    2. Go To SM_CRM >> On Home Page go to "Personalize" >> Go to Settings >> Click on Personalize setting >> Select Enable Configuration mode >> Save

    3. Click on Create Incident >> Select the type >> Click on button "show Configurable Area" (Screenshot no. 1)

    4. Select "Reported By" Field >> Click on "Show Field Properties" button (Screenshot no. 2)

    5. Change the Field Name which you want i.e. "Created By" >> Apply >> Save (Screenshot no. 2)

    Please note: This change will apply to all types of Incident.

    If you want only for specific type of Incident then you need to create one copy of this incident type Profile and then you can make the changes as per the requirement.
