How to Mass Change Product IDs?

Hi Experts,

We are going to need to update all of the product IDs in ByDesign to a new format but as far as I know, we do not have such "mass update“ functionality in ByDesign.

Is this still true? What is the best option to handle this?

Hi,

You can use any the Mass Data Maintenance or Data Workbench tools to do mass change of products.

However, it is true that is not possible to change the product ID once the product was created.

The ID is a key field and hence can't be modified.
