Hi All
I have installed EasyDMS 6.0 SP 01, Patch 01.When I try to login to EasyDMS, after entering the user id and password, i am encountering the following error message "Logon failed (RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE)"
Could anybody suggest remedy for the same?

I have the latest version and i've tried with all combination of setting case sensitive for both user & pass.
Also tried password in all upper and all lower.

In SP)9, by deafult case sensitive should be checked..u should not uncheck it
second hting - go to windows-system32 folder, you will find librfc32.dll there..in case u are using non unicode version of easyDMS, check the version of this dll.and post it here..for unicode version of easyDMS it should not matter..
also, does your save password entry is checked and u r using the existing old password/or typing the password again?

I'm running GUI 6.40, but as far as i know, GUI version should be irrelevant, as they should not be using SAP GUI.
Any other pointers or ideas?

I had sililar problem when integrating SAP with AutoCAD
The Problem is
i was able to logon to 4.7 & ECC 5
But i am not able to logon to ECC 6
I had SAP GUI 6.2 installed before the problem.
When i uninstalled SAP GUI 6.2 &
installed SAP GUI 6.4 the Problem was solved
i was able to logon to ECC 6

Hi,
Easy DMS creates dump messages in the backend if an error occurs. Use tc ST22 to check your dumps,
the dump message will tell you more about the login problem. I´m quiet sure that the short text of your dump
will be "RFC no authority".
To use Easy DMS you need several RFC authorities, on the basis of my experience 90 % of all problems with
Easy DMS are caused by missing authority.

Are you sure you have a user in the backend system to which you
are connecting?

Hi,
there is the authority for RFC missing.
Turn on the trace to check, witch RFC funtion-group authority is missing.
To turn the trace on click on the SAP logo in the EasyDMS logon screen.
