XML forms / news - Edit Link

Hello,

In a News list form we have two links Edit and Delete.

The delete link works without any problems for the selected resource.

When we select Edit link it opens up the selected resource for editing, so far so good, however after making necessary changes when we click on Send button on the edit form, an exception gets thrown "Resource is deleted"... and at the end of the exception is a button "OK".

On clicking the button it then actually saves the form ignoring the above error.

While functionally it works as desired we are unable to hide this error message on the screen.

Does anyone had this kind of issue before?

This issue is very similar to the following thread...

https://forums.sdn.sap.com/message.jspa?messageID=3914727#3914727

com.sapportals.wcm.repository.ResourceNotFoundException: Resource is deleted

at com.sapportals.wcm.repository.ResourceException.fillInStackTrace(ResourceException.java:399)

at java.lang.Throwable.<init>(Throwable.java:195)

at java.lang.Exception.<init>(Exception.java:41)

at com.sapportals.wcm.WcmException.<init>(WcmException.java:59)

at com.sapportals.wcm.util.content.ContentException.<init>(ContentException.java:38)

at com.sapportals.wcm.repository.ResourceException.<init>(ResourceException.java:162)

at com.sapportals.wcm.repository.ResourceNotFoundException.<init>(ResourceNotFoundException.java:71)

at com.sapportals.wcm.repository.ResourceImpl.checkDeleted(ResourceImpl.java:4026)

at com.sapportals.wcm.repository.ResourceImpl.isRevision(ResourceImpl.java:1578)

We are on EP7 SP13. The same thing works ok on EP6, the error is thrown (in default.trc) but not displayed on the front end.

Regards,

Sudhakar
