Hi Experts,

Is there a way how to export a list of scheduled reports from BI platform icluding the scheduled report email destination addresses? Imagine a situation where the employee leaves the company and there are many reports with the following employee's email address.

It would be great to have a solution to find all the reports and change it using code istead of doing it manually. However, let's firstly concentrate on only retrieving a list of report schedules with email destination addresses.

I found several threads online:

What tool are you using to extract and administer the data from nested sets? For e.g.

select * from ci_infoobjects

Using BO:8080/AdminTools/querybuilder/ie.jsp I am able to retrieve the information in HTML format where I can see the data in nested sets like

SI_SCHEDULEINFO.SI_DESTINATIONS

However, all this information is available in HTML. Do you have any ideas how to export it in excel format?

I have tried CMS Query Builder application however, instead of the nested sets I have only retrieved the Path of the object.

Do you have any other ideas how to export the list of recipients mails from BI platform in a user friendly way?

P.S. I know about the 3rd party tools already. I have raised this question to look for possible solutions regarding this matter.

Thanks,

Vytautas

Unfortunately you cannot get this information without using 3rd party tools like 360. Since BI 4.2 sp4, SAP offered a universe which can allow to query CMS DB, it is one solution ut of the box. But if you are not BI 4.2 sp4, you are out of luck.

Or you can use SDK (Java or .net ) to extract this information.

Small correction here CMS DB Access driver is available from BI 4.2 SP3 itself.

Thanks for the reply. I am using BO 4.2 SP04 Patch 01 and have found the new SAP CMS DB universe to download. I will let you know whether I have been able to get all the information about created report schedules.

More information about the CMS DB universe below:
