LSMW

hello..

while using LSMW to upload data, during the 4th or 5th step 2 files r created with diff extensions.. can any one one tell me what r those...n their use..

    hi Shalu

    That files are *.conv files...

    when ever you develop a LSMW generally u will use a SAP std generic program for standard processed like customer create, Material Create... that SAP std program understands only that *.conv file... or it will accept that .conv file only as input...

    Hi,

    It's in 7 step of LSMW where two files are generated. One with extension .lsmw.read this file rquired to store the data collected from the flat file which is read is read in Step 9. Second file with extension .lsmw.conv this file will contained the converted data which is formed after converting the the read data into desired format in Step 11.
