test equipment in qm

dear experts,

now i am working test equipment management in QM module.in that i have 10 equipments to calibrate every month.what are the steps.

i tried like this

1) IE01

2) IA01

3) IP41

4) IP10

Now my query

1)when i am creating in IA01 it is not selecting only it is showing general task lists only.

2)then i created general task list then it is ok .then it is creating insp.lots but in created staus only. .how to change to Release status to results recording

whatever you have done is correct,but how are maintaining the 10 equipments,whether you are creating one maintenance plan and attaching all the equipments or creating individual maintenance plan for all the equipments.

iam not able to understand your problem regarding the issue 1

Regarding the issue 2 i think you have not assigned any inspection characteristic or system is not able to pick up the task list for the inspection lot, in the task list kindly check whether the status is Released and check whether you have specified the inspection point as 300 for equipment and whether you have assigned the characteristic to the operation.

what type of task list we have to create (either equipment /general).my query is i have created equipment task list .but i am unable assign that task list. what is the reason.

hi

you can create either equipment or general task list, but if you want to assign the particular equipment task list then the maintenance plan you have created also should be the same,kindly check the status and usage of the task list you have created.also specify what is problem you are facing the task list to the maintenance plan

Hi,

i think i am confusing u.

now i will explain my exact problem

I want to calibrate one equipment(for example multimeter)

for that i have followed the following process.

1)i have created multimeter as euipment(IE 01)with Q category

2)i have created general task list with usge 04 and status also 04.(IA05)

3)i have created a pln(IP41) and i assigned the above task list .4)now i have schedule that plan .then insp lot created and one order also created.

now my problem is i am unable give the results why b'cos

it is in create staus

where i did mistake plz give reply immediately.it is very urgent for me.i will close and award for u.
