F4 help of a variable does not show Text, shows only Key in Bex Web (in Bi 7

While I am running a query in Web and Pressing the F4 help button for a variable the screen shows only Key,but I want both Key and Text. The varible is based on a Characteristic(Master data).

The same query when I am running in BEx Analyzer I am getting both Key and Text for the variable.

I have checked all the settings in the query as well as in the InfoObjct but could not get the expected result.

Can anyone help me as it is very urgent?

if you are running the report on Web and if you press F4 , it brings you Variable screen...

When i tried same, it didnot bring the variable screen but it gave the drop down for entering new Website address.

I might not be able to help but you can chekc the settings with Portal, because in Website as far as i know if you press F4 it will drop down the Screen where you can enter the website address.or say Navigation toolbaar.

Hi All,In Web( WJR->Web Java Runtime) there is a setting in RSDCUBE->provider specific setting ->infoobject->Display as key and text.

Please ensure that provided specific setting in RSDCUBE transction for that infoobject is "key and text".

RSD1 and query setting affects the result in bex analyzer but provider specific setting affects the result in Java runtime.

Please read note 1080863 - FAQs on input helps in the BI BEx Java Web.

    Best Regards
