How to settle an investment order which was not settled in Previous year

Hi Guru's

Could you please suggest a way to settle an internal order which was not settled in previous year. The order contains line items from FY 2006 which are not settled. Please sujjest.

I also need help in settling an internal order with -ve line items....please help.

Naveen,

You can settle previous year costs and even negative lines to an internal order without any problem. You do it exactly the same as you do any normal settlement by t-code KO88 provided you have a valid settlement rule.

Hi Jagadeesh,

Thanks for the reply...the issue is our internal orders are investment orders and we are trying to settle them against assets.

The asset belongs to an asset class..With Status of AUC as follows :No AUC or Summary management of AUC.

We tried settling the order as usual using Tcode KO88 but ger the following error

"Settle the balance from previous year in previous year first".

Since the values belong to Previous Financial Year....they distort the reported financial statements....Hence our worry...

Please sujjest a solution......

Hi All,

The question is answered now.. we have settled the costs from internal order to a costcenter in the previous year. in the current yr we have settled the cost center to the internal order and then again settled the order to Assets.
