Enterprise Compensation management

Dear All,

Pl. tell me What is the difference between Compensation Management and Enterprise Compensation Management.

Actually for our Client we don't have Job Pricing and Budgeting but we have Compensation Administration and appraisal system.

So pl. let me know Which node I have to use to Cinfig this Compensation Administartion.

I have seen the Nodes under ECM there is no setting for Adjustment types and Reasons, In this case if we follow the ECM where we can maintain this.

Pl. helpme out.

Hi,

The core components in Compensation Management are: Job Pricing, Budgeting, Compensation Administration, and Personnel Cost Planning. Each of these components answers a question:

Job Pricing: What are the jobs in my enterprise worth, in relative and real terms?

Budgeting: How much money, and how many shares do I, as a department head, have available for my employees?

Compensation Administration: Who is entitled to what?

Personnel Cost Planning: If I downsize/take on staff/increase salaries, how much money will I need for next year?

The core components in ECM are :-Budgeting, Compensation Administration,Eligibility ,Guide lines,Plan Attribues,Compensation Program & Long term Incentive Plans.

In Budgeting you can define reference currency , Budget Types, Budget Periods.

In Compensation Admn you can define Compensation Areas, Plans, Reviews.

In Eligibility eligibility rules rules for appraisals etc

Hi,

I hope you are in ECC, you need to configure in ECM, SAP is not going to upgrade CM in future.

Dear Om,

Yes we are in ECC 6.0, I worked on Compensation management earlier but I am new to ECM.

In compensation Management we can make the adjustments through "HRCMP0001c/ MSS", In ECM what would be the Tcode we need to use for this I know the program of creation is this the only way or do we have another ways to do.

By using ECM do we need Adjustment Types?

Pl. suggest me on this.
