Creating the cost center Hierarchy

Hi All,

When I am trying to insert the char as 0costcenter in costcenter hierarchy, it is saying in pop up not allow for external char. I tried to include the external char in the infoobject tab but still it is not accepting.

How can I include the 0costcencenter as a infoobject in costcenter hierarchy.

Where can I find the steps to be followed for creating the hierarchies.

Hi,

you go to RSH1 and choose your 0costcenter-hierarchy that you want to change. OR you create your own one.

To add a costcenter group choose text node. Then you will be asked for a node name and text. Enter text e.g. Personal. To add costcenters to this node or folder choose 'costcenter'. A popup with all available costcenters will appear. Choose the ones you want to add and confirm. These costcenters will be added below your text node.

With button 'CHaracteristic node' you could add values from other infoobjects that are allowed in the infoobject. An example is material group to materials. Here you could build a material group hierarchy. For costcenter are no external chars allowed, so you can'T add here any.
