Solution Manager 7.1 - SP12
While trying to create a new Application Log monitor by using "Application Log Content" key figure, the following occurs:
After completing all mandatory fields, the wildcard "*" is being removed from field "Message Number" after clicking on save button. The changes are not saved and like I said, the field is now "empty". No error message is displayed. Ofcourse, if we then try to generate the object without entering a new value in the above mentioned field, the following is obtained:
Enter Selection in Field "Message Number"
According to the help for the keyfigure, the "*" wildcard is accepted:
"The object must be fully-specified. For the other fields, except aggregation, you can use the wild card "*"."
Is this the expected behaviour for that field? Does this field really accept wildcards, or just numbers?
