C4C Opportunity Sales Organization Determination

In C4C the organizational model is setup by defining different sales organizations. Below the sales organizations different sales units can be defined.

An employee can be assigned to multiple sales units in the orgmodel, one unit must indicate the primary unit. In the employee master, sales organizations etc. can be assigned.

When creating an opportunity, the system determines based on the primary setting of the sales unit. If a user is only assigned to one unit / org n the system, also the sales org is determined.

Now my question: If a user is assigned to two different sales organizations and two different sales units belonging to the different sales organizations. How can I re-trigger an automatic retriggering of the sales organization, if the user is using another sales unit.

I would expect, that the sales organization could be determined based on the sales unit, since the unit belongs to a sales organization. So if I change the sales unit to a secondary unit, also the related sales organization should be able to be found. But it seems, this is not possible.

Can anybody confirm this behaviour or does have a solution?

Thanks, Raj

    Hello Rajev,

Sales unit field is available in new opportunity screen while creating new opportunity, we don't have sales org field in new opportunity screen. So once you fill the sales unit then system automatically fetch sales org based on org structure determination.

In existing opportunity where you have already sales unit and sales org values, but if you want to change the sales unit then again based on org structure sales org will be determined. we have tested in our internal system.
