change the editor in smartform

hello friends,

i am working on a new version of SAP,i dont knw exactly which it is but it is advance that ecc 5.0

now in smartform when i create in TEXT it appears in WORD FORMAT.

how can i change it back 2 normal display as in ecc 5.0

pls help

Hi Amit,

Do one thing in text editor where it apeas as word format ther in left side u have a pencil and notebook kind press tht then u will get the normal editor kind . If u dnt find tht then go to edit or settings there u will find change editor .Here we go ur problem will be solved.

SAP note 742662 explains this editor and how to switch it off.

Call transaction I18N. Expand the folder 'I18N Customizing' then double click on 'MS Word as Editor'. On the next screen remove the check-boxes and activate. This is set system wide, so make sure all other developers are happy with the change.

i did the things as per ur inostructions bt still the TEXT opens in WORD format only.

I've applied these settings to my system and the editor type has changed to the 4.6/4.7 type.
