hi sap gurus,

If we want to add any field to standard infotype like for example a third name in personal data infotype ,what can we do it technically.

Hi Hema,

I have also the same requirement, I need to enhance HRP5122 which is for Posting Instance.Then I have finished it by finding CI_include and then I enhanced it by adding 2 more extra fields called Internal Talent pool and Approval from.

Is this your requirement or something different..

If it is different make a reply.

Hi Hema latha,

You need to enhance the infotype. We have already discussed about the Infotype Enhancement in this forum, I would suggest you to find in the archieve. Go to transaction PM01 and select the infotype, click the CI include button to enhance the infotype.

I think ur saying to enhance an infotype in r/3 ,but i need enhancement in BSP's.

Could you help me out through this.

Hema, If your talking only about E-Recruitment Info types Enhancement.

Than its very simple just check the path to find out the infotype which you can modify.

E-Rec->Technical Setting->UserInterface->BSPSettings->Flexibilization->Fields->Define Additional Fields.

Click on IMG Documentation.

Go to SE11->Give the CI Include Name (Eg: CI_P5014 Candidate Education infotype). Add additional Fields and Activate the structure.

This activation will adjust all the respective structures and DB tables only adding additional Fields in the structure and you can see the Fields on the BSP page, if you want to hide Fields on the web page than it can be done through config, any thing beyond this need to go for Custom Development process.

Solution for your Quesiton,

Follow the steps.

1) E-Rec->Technical Setting->UserInterface->BSPSettings->Flexibilization->Define Context ( with some value)

2) E-Rec->Technical Setting->UserInterface->BSPSettings->Flexibilization->Container Sequences->Define Elements for Container Sequeces. (Create New entres

Element ID 1007

Name, and other details and In application Replace standard application name HRRCF_REQ_MNT with your ZHRRCF_REQ_MNT .

3) Goto SE80.

Goto BSP Application Pool.

Enter HRRCF_REQ_MNT and Copy to ZHRRCF_REQ_MNT.

now do the changes to the custom BSP pages as you like

( Additional fields

Request you to Concentrate on Controller Class for Updating the Database, infotypes need to copy the controller class also for saving the additional data which are coming from your custom BSP page......cheer up dear for giving me good excerise, i have replicated, it in my sand box.

i am not sure about the solution beyond the Custom development for your requirement....need to do a lot of work around to save the screen data.....need to contact SAP Team for this.....and i am sure SAP is against of Custom developemtn.
