Crystal reports 2016

Hi,

We upgraded our environment from BI 4.1 to BI 4.2,in this process all the crystal reports were updated to crystal reports 2016 from crystal reports 2013.

Now down the line if i want to modify the crystal reports 2016.Can i use crystal reports for enterprise or. crystal reports 2013 ?

Do i need to buy new license for crystal reports 2016,if i need to use it or is it included with BI 4.2 SP3.

Hi Krishna,

You should use CR 2016 with BI 4.2.

If you wish to use CR for Enterprise, you'd need to setup Relational Connections in BI 4.2 and change each report's datasource so that it consumes the new connections you set up.

Do note that some features may not work in CR for Ent.
