No GR beyond Maximum Stock Level

Hi,

We have maintained Maximum Stock Level in material master MRP1 View. We want that if the plant stock of that item is more than Maximum Stock Level or by posting GR stock goes beyond Maximum stock level. System does not allow to post goods receipt. If any user exit or some other solution.

As far as Std SAP is concern u can not restrict GR above MAX stock level

But can be achived through Use exits but such logic will create misunderstanding bet. company and vendor

Suppose u have given vendor PO for 1000 no's and he sends material as per delivery date mentioned in PO

But as per ur user exit if system restrict GR vendor has to return back with material in such case who will bear trasportation cost ,any Octorai paid by vendor for this material

so it's better to control PO than Goods receipt to control stock

ther is no std way to do this in SAP

but u can use user exict to achive what u requre

u can use user exit in Migo, take help of abaper to do this
