Hi All,
The Scenario at my clients site is as follows;
They are using 3rd party time system. The "In and Out" time of every employee will be first recorded there and then the same would be transfered to SAP system.
Now, if the IN-Out time of any employee is available he would be considered as "present" or else "absent" for that particular day. I also want to count the number of hours (working hours) for all the employees.
Please guide me how do I configure the SAP system for the above scenario.
( I have maintained absences quotas but not the attendance quotas? Do I have to maintain that as well? Moreover where should I maintain In and out time of employees in SAP system)
Regards,
Amit
Hi,
This can be maintained thro' positive time mgmnt If u r using the time recording system thro third party system, then this shld be transfered to IT 2011. In this mandatory fields are Id number and the recorded timings. In SAP it is called Time Pairs, the most common time pairs are P10, P20 and P40. based on this u can calcualte the employees actual working hours w.r.t clock in and clock out timings.

in your case you are watching only the IN time . but you can set control that if he deviates ( for eg if he comes at 10 instead of 9.00 oclock as per his work hours, the system will throw warning or error messages to the Time admin
Attendance quota is not compulsory.

When you want to calculate his salary based on his time entry (in and out times) then you can have both the in an out times.in your case if you want to control his daily timings as per the work schedule you can use it

fIRST YOU DECIDE WITH THE BUSINESS WHETHERE THEY WANT THE POSITIVE TIME KEEPING ARE NEGATIVE TIME KEEPING
Them you can think of taking the actual time are only the deviation
ok
Positive is actiual negative is deviation depends on this you can go head with tmo1or tmo4 schema
if necessary you may have to custimize the schema
Ok
