Measurement Document - Link between Work Order -> Mea .doc -> Notification

Hey Gurus,

Can someone tell me if there is a standard way or OSS notes to link the work order with the measure document (created through IW42) and the notification (created through user-exit IMRC0001)?

For this workflow, it seems that once the notification is created through the user exit, the link between the measurement document and the work order is undone (because they use the same field in the measurement document WOOBK).

Once this happens we lose the traceability between all the three objects.

You could try finding a sutable enhancement point in the measurement document creation process and update the IMRG-WOOBK field, or append the table with a ne field and populate that field.

Hello Peter,

For the first scenario, we can’t update the field IMRG - WOOBK once we can only have the work order number or the notification number.

So, I think that we must go for the second solution, create a new field in the measurement document with the notification number and another one in the notification with the number of the measurement document, this way we can have a traceability between the three objects.

Did you create Measurement Point link in the order via the PRT functionality?
