NW7.1 can't sync, no connection

Hi,

I have problems to communicate my NW7.1 client with server. I configured my client propertly and the sync doesn't work at all. Is there any sequence step-by-step to track this problem. I've found many log files, which contained a java exception stack which ends at lov-level-java createSocket() method.

My first idea was to post like http://sever:port/sync_service_path/ and maybe try to set an external breakpoint somewhere in the abap sync routine(s) to check if the abap sync is running.
