Batch Number Change

Hi,

It is possible to change Batch number, which is assigned Externally

Example :

Instead of XYZ1234 we have created 1234 as Batch Number.

Let me know how to change this Batch number 1234 to XYZ1234. ( batch number is assigned externally)

Dear Prakash,

Create a new batch XYZ1234 using MSC1 .Then using MB1B movement type 309,do batch to batch transfer.You can delete the old batch 1234.

I guess this will serve ur purpose.

Create a batch number XYZ1234 in batch creation transaction

Transfer all the stock from 1234 to XYZ1234. Enter the delition flag to 1234.

You cannot do any thing with the histroy, if you want to do, then you need to reverse all the documments if possible and again do the transaction with XYZ1234.
