Hi,
I am facing one problem
User had created a reservation & allocated one batch to that reservation.
Later on he deleted the reservation .
Now the user wants to archive the batch .
Plz provide me procedure in archiving the batch.
Hi Santosh,
If you want to archive Batch data then pre-request is flag the batch record for deletion, and follow this steps:
> SARA (t.code) > Mention MM_SPSTOCK (Archive object) > click Write Variant > Mention meaningful name to the variant > click on Maintain > mention batch document number > select production mode > click on Variant > mention the text
> Save.
Come back to the screen where you have mention the Variant name > Click on Start date > click on Immediate > save
Back > click on spool parameters > mention output device > enter
Click on F8 (Execute) > Click on Job > select you job > click on Spool > here you can see the job got archived.
Deletion process will be carried out based on your setting in the archiving object specific customizing > if say u have mention deletion program is automatic then deletion program will carried out automatically
> I say deletion is not automatic then you have to manually schedule it. > Click on Delete variant > select you session no and schedule it as u have done in write program.
This how you can do archive and delete the Batch records.
If this helps the reward.
-Thanks,
Ajay

First check the stock of this batch
Remove all stock out of system
in MSC2N mark this batch for deletion
Then u can run program for arching..
