Users get runtime error from IE when loading iviews with VC flex content

One or two of our users accessing our portal pages with VC flex content are getting error messages from Internet Explorer saying:

A runtime error has occured. Do you wish to debug? Line: 82. Error: Object expected.

These users have later versions of IE6 with Flash Player 9 installed.

Anyone know what solves this problem?

Does it work on other machines?

Yes, it does work fine for more than 99% of our users. They too have IE 6 and Flash player 9. I haven't managed to isolate what is different for these users.
