bulk data transfer from R/3

I need to transfer bulk data from the R/3 to a SQL Server database via XI.

At the receiver end will be a JDBC Communication channel.

At the sender end, it can be

1. IDOC adapter

2. RFC

3. Proxy

Please suggest which one will be most suitable.
