SuccessFactors Integration via HCI and Cloud Connector and Business Integration Builder

Hi Experts,

I am using employee and organization replication using SAP Cloud Connector and Business Integration Builder(BIB). Standard Guide mentions that for this scenario, query is triggered from On-premise and pulls the information from EC via HCI but I don't think this would use SCC since could connector doesn't support On-prem to cloud at eh moment but pushing information from EC -> On-prem is via SCC.

Could you please let me know if that's still true? Also, client network doesn't support direct https connection from On-prem to cloud, is there any way I can achieve this using standard integration? How do I get IP address of HCI in case client network allows whitelisting of HCI IP for HTTPS connection?

Hello Pratibha,

Its not required to have SCC in between for SAP ERP to SF EC data communication.[ SAP ERP->SAP HCI->SF EC ]

Where as from SF EC to SAP ERP it is required to setup SCC or reverse proxy.

You can find out IP range of your SAP CPI ( SAP HCI ) based on the data center where it is hosted in below link.

Since you are creating RFC destination of type G( HTTP Connection to External Server ) for connectivity from On Prem to SAP HCI dont think there is some threat going through Standard Replication process.

Hi Sriprasad,

Thank you for your reply !

Since client network doesn't allow any direct HTTPS connection to cloud application, they wanted to use SCC ( which of course is not a possibility) . Also, they don't want to open firewall connection to HCI from SAP application which is causing whole of of issues because when I run the query "ECPAO_EE_ORG_REPL_QUERY" it's not able to find SLD host and port and I can't see RFC destination type G getting created automatically when I do SOAMANGER configuration in On-Prem.
